Real-Time Embedded Systems is everywhere and is increasing more than before. For the course, we were asked to propose a design project. Upon talking with my teammates, we decided to to do something fun and play a guitar automatically. We decided to set limitations on the design according to deadlines and decided to play a selected list of chords on the guitar. This is achieved by using solenoids and controlling it with a microcontroller. We used 10 solenoids which enables us to play around 3-4 chords.
